This Tuesday, August 12th, from 6 to 7ish, folks are invited to an evening of conversation and fellowship with Peter Rollins, Jonny McEwen, Kellie Turtle and Sarah Williamson from the ikon collective in Belfast, Northern Ireland. They are open to any questions you might have about faith, the church, their experiences as a new kind of Christian community in Belfast, etc. etc. Also, Peter Rollins would like to hear from attendees regarding his take on Bonhoeffer's idea of "religionless Christianity" in other words, "Is Christianity supposed to be a religion or is it supposed to be something else?"
Specifically he is looking for input on the first two posts on his blog here
We will be meeting at Gluek's Bar and Restaurant:
16 North 6th Street
Minneapolis, MN
This is a joint ministry with the young adults of Normandale and Mt. Olivet. If you like what you hear on Tuesday why not join us for the rest of the week at the Minne-kon mini-conference? Info is posted below on my blog as well as our website
